Today, Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota are rightfully considered icons of world film music. The show dedicated to their work will present the most important stages of the two composers' careers, from iconic songs of the sixties to melodies written for Sergio Leone's films and created for Hollywood.
The program will allow you not only to hear the works of unsurpassed masters live, but also to make a unique emotional journey through the waves of Rota and Morricone's creativity, in which eternal themes are intertwined with the inner world of the creators. The ideological inspirer of the project was Marcello Rota, a world–renowned conductor. The music from the films is performed by soloists who have gone down in the history of Italian and world cinema: Nello Salza (trumpet), Ludovico Fulci (piano) Susanna Rigacci (soprano). Under the impeccable guidance of Maestro Morricone, they have given more than 500 concerts around the world.
